THE BIBLE
- Question: Why did Eve eat that Apple?
Answer: She didn't.
Yep. You read that right. Now, go back and read it from the source: Genesis 2:8 - 3:24
NOWHERE is the word apple printed in the King James Version of the Bible.
- Q: If the Bible can be believed, people are really inbred - all coming from Adam and Eve. Eww! Isn't that gross?
A: That would be gross!
But it is not true. - God created men and women on the Sixth Day. (Gen 1:26)
Then, on the 8th Day, he created Adam, (Gen 2:5)knowing that Adam's line would lead directly to His son, Jesus Christ. Why would Cain have travelled to the land of Nod to find his wife if there weren't other people?
- Q: How long is one day with God?
A: One thousand years. So when God created men and women on the Sixth Day of Creation and told them; "Be fruitful, and mulitiply, and replenish the earth..."? Well, 1,000 years later, the 8th day, he created Adam in his image.
That's why when Cain fled, (Gen 4:13-17 - note that he was afraid that anyone that found him would slay him) he was able to take wives. These other races had had 1,000 years to replenish the Earth as God commanded.
A: Read Job 40:15 - 24. We are in the second Earth age.
- Q: Why is life so hard? Sometimes I just feel that I can't go on any longer.
A: Don't despair! You're still here, typing this email, right? Read in 1st Corinthians where God tells you that he'll never test you more than you can bear - you'll always be given a path out of trouble.
It's worth a look back in your past to those rough times, when you thought you'd never be able to get through. Somehow, with His help, you did though, didn't you? And sometimes the test of time wears away those rough edges so that the hard times you saw don't seem as bad as all that.
